Barefoot in Berlin

Hello. How are you? This was another post where I had linked to a YouTube video, only to have the video get taken down. This leaves me with a defunct link. So, instead, please enjoy this page from an old Jungle Girl comic.

Speaking of jungle girls, I'm working on the latest Ryta the Jungle Girl book right now (well, not right at this very instant, but you get the idea).

One Piece

A woman has been abducted by a man and left in this storage area in this Spanish soap opera.

Apparently she had been abducted from either the beach or a pool, due to the one piece bathing suit that she's clad in, with a sarong.

And, she's also barefoot, which is always nice.

The clip is twelve minutes long, and you have to wade through a lot of soap opera, but these scenes with the BF damsel are worth it. You can see this clip right here.

The Best Movies of 2020

Extraction (Netflix) -- Chris Hemsworth (Thor) shines in this really intense thriller about a mercenary trying to save a boy from kidnappers. This film has some fantastic stunt work that needs to be seen to be believed. No BF or bondage scenes.

The Vast of Night -- (Amazon) a very eerie and creepy science fiction/horror film that takes place over the course of one night in the late 1950s. This is a truly unsettling movie that makes alien vistation (and abduction) really scary again. Fans of the original Twilight Zone and Outer Limits should love this (I did). No BF or bondage scenes.

Mank (Netflix) -- I'm not usually a big fan of these Hollywood 'tell all' stories, but this one stars a great actor (Gary Oldman) being directed by a great director (David Fincher), and it's very well done. There's a slight bondage scene with Amanda Seyfried tied to a stake for a movie shoot. But there's also a really nice BF scene where Seyfried removes her shoes and takes a walk barefoot outside at night with Mank, who holds her heels for her.

Enola Holmes (Netflix) -- the very idea of Sherlock Holmes having a younger sister sounded silly to me. And then I saw this film, with the always great Millie Bobby Brown giving a charming performance as the youngest Holmes sibling who's off to solve her own case. Henry Cavill is also suprisingly good as Sherlock. Looking forward to the sequel. No BF or bondage scenes of note.

The Old Guard (Netflix) -- Charlize Theron proves what a great and savvy star she is with this rousing action film that deals with a group of warriors who are immortal. Some great action scenes in this fast-paced, gripping, and just all-around awesome flick. No BF scenes, but there are bondage scenes with Charlize.

Host (Shudder) -- a movie that was shot on Zoom shouldn't have been this good, nor this scary. But it was both, in spades. Just under an hour long, Host manages to be very creepy while adding to the paranoia of these pandemic days. No bondage, but a couple of the girls are barefoot, if you look hard enough.

The Beach House (Shudder) -- very unsettling movie dealing with body horror that also manages to cut a little too close for comfort, horror-wise. Very gripping and intense; this one's a real nail biter. No bondage, but plenty of BF scenes.

The Invisible Man (home video) -- this one broadsided me. The recent attempts to revive the classic Universal monsters just left me cold. But in the capable hands of writer/ director Leigh Whannell, this latest version of the IM was a masterpiece of suspense and horror. And Elizabeth Moss is great in this. No bondage, and some brief BF scenes.

Birds of Prey...Harley Quinn (home video) -- not a perfect movie (there's way too many flashbacks), but I loved this film just for giving us the always great Margot Robbie as Harley in another fast and funny adventure. And her love of a special breakfast sandwhich, while it's being made, is hysterically funny to watch. No BF scenes, but Harley gets tied to a chair, and she's not BF.

Underwater (home video) -- my all-time favorite of 2020. Kristen Steward continues to prove that she's a much better actress than those sparkly vampire flicks showed. Taking place at a drillling rig at the bottom of the ocean, Steward's character battles catastrophic failure of the submerged oil rig, along with horrors of the depths, all while going barefoot the whole time (when she's not clad in deep diving gear). Great movie all around.

The Best TV of 2020

Tiger King (Netflix) -- in the early days of the pandemic, I was hooked on this documentary series about a guy who ran a zoo in the deep south. At least that how the story started: and then it just kept getting weirder and weirder, proving the old saying that truth is really stranger than fiction.

Floor is Lava (Netflix) -- yeah, this was a silly game show, but I still loved it enough to binge-watch it over a weekend. It did a great job of taking my mind off the scarier elements of 2020 (and that's saying a lot!). Contestants have to jump from furniture to furniture in a flooded room where the water is made to look like lava. A lot of fun.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous (Netflix) -- I wound up enjoying this far more than I thought I would. This is a very well written animated series about a bunch of kids who head to Jurassic World. The series takes place at the same time as the 2015 movie, their events running side by side with the growing chaos in the park. No bondage, no BF scenes.

The Outsider (HBO) -- A rip-roaring tale from Stephen King about a murder investigation that gets tripped up when the prime suspect manages to be in two places at once. A very well-written and unnerving series that just keeps getting better with every episode. No bondage, but there are some BF scenes, including one with Mare Winningham stepping on glass.

I Am Not OK With This (Netflix) -- a very cute story starring Sophia Lillis, who played the young Beverly in the IT films. And she's great in this. The series has unfortunately been cancelled, but you should still seek it out on Netflix; it's a great comedy/drama that slowly turns into a superhero origin story. No BF Bondage.

Ghost in the Shell -- SAC 2045 (Netflix) -- Although I wasn't a huge fan of the original animted series, I still really enjoyed this series. Visually stunning, and offers a fascinating 'what if' look into a future that still might be possible, if we're not careful. No BF bondage.

Raised By Wolves (HBO Max)-- A remarkable science fiction series that gets really bonkers at times. But despite the batshit crazy notions it puts forward, I still loved it. It's a nice change of pace for SF fans who might be weary of the same, tired old space opera franchises. No bondage, some BF scenes.

The Haunting of Bly Manor (Netflix) -- I didn't know what to expect with this limited series from Netflix, and I wound up being completely scared all the way through and bawling my eyes out at the end. This is a marvelous, tender, and ultimately rewarding show that shouldn't be missed by fans of ghost stories, as well as fans of great dramas. It has several barefoot scenes throughout, and a bondage scene (damsel is not BF).

Teenage Bounty Hunters (Netflix) -- An extremely entertaining and funny series about a pair of teenage girls who become bounty hunters. While the premise sounds silly, the writers deftly manage to make it work without going into the weeds. Bondage scenes: yes, in the last episode, Maddie Phillips (who plays Sterling), gets kidnapped and is kept tied up in a trailer--she's not barefoot.

The Queen's Gambit (Netflix) -- Anna Taylor Joy is fantastic as a young woman who becomes a chess master. I never considered Chess to be a spectator sport, but this series actually makes it very exciting to watch. No bondage. There are plenty of BF scenes, including one at the very beginning of the first episode, where she's running BF through a hotel.

Tomorrow, we'll look at the best movies of 2020.

Merry Christmas

I posted this picture on my original website a long time ago. It's still on point for the subject of this blog, while still being cutsie-pie enough for the holidays, don't you think?

I hope you have a Very Merry Christmas and a Very Happy Holiday, no matter what you celebrate. May you stay safe and happy this Holiday Season.

Let It Snow

Honoka was once part of a ukulele duo based in Hawaii, but now she's flying solo with her version of the old holiday standby, "Let It Snow." Just in time for the Holidays. It's good to see that she's still going strong, and still going barefoot, too.

Merry Merry

It's just a few days before Christmas, and that means it's time to post one of my favorite Holiday-themed clips (not to mention one of my fave clips overall), Yvonne Strahovski in Dexter.

From the seventh season episode "Do The Wrong Thing," Strahovski plays a woman who is just as crazed as Dexter is, and so he has to get rid of her in his usual ghastly fashion.

But this time, Dexter winds up falling in love with her, and thus we are treated to a wonderfully weird sex scene. Strahovski would become a series regular after this.

You can see the full clip right here.

Easy Green

In the second (and final) season of Alcapulco Heat, Lydie Denier stars as one third of a low-rent Charlie's Angels team of investigators.

In the episode Easy Green, Denier is caught while snooping around the home of a wealthy businessman. She's barefoot throughout her snoop session.

Denier gets tied to a chair in a storage room--still barefoot.

She wastes no time in freeing herself. She uses a sharp instrument on the table behind her to cut the ropes binding her wrists free.

Of course, if the bad guys had tied her ankles to the chair, this escape wouldn't have been so easy. But the nefarious are also numb from the neck up, apparently.

But I'm glad to see Denier is able to save us all from these bad guys, and their horrifying plot to smuggle...horse shoes, or whatever.

Alcapulco Heat really wasn't very good overall, but it had some nice BF bondage scenes.

Sneak peek at WW84

I was going to post my annual "best of" lists this weekend (best of TV/movies), until I realized that there were several things that are still coming out. In other words, the year ain't over yet.

Wonder Woman 84 is one of those things. It's being released in theaters and on HBO Max at the same time on Christmas Day. I plan on watching it on HBO Max (I'm still steering clear of the theaters in these pandemic days). They have released the opening scene of WW84 in a clip on YouTube that you can see above.

I'm looking forward to this one. My "Best Of" lists will be posted next weekend.

Weird Room Service

A woman wakes up to find strangers in her hotel room. They throw her on the bed and begin tying her up and gagging her.

And she didn't even order this on the kink menu!

She's taken in the night and placed inside what looks like an abandoned hotel room. Did they just go to the cheaper motel across the street?

She's left to sit in a comfortable looking chair while her captors leer over her.

Although her feet aren't tied, she does go barefoot throughout this clip, which you can see right here.

Meeting Buster

Nat has been placed in a smelly storage room, where she meets Buster--who wasn't what Nat had expected! Find out what happens in my latest Poser picture right here.

Furia Asesina

In the action-packed Mexican flick Furia Asesina, actress Leticia Lozoya gets kidnapped while going on a midnight swim in the ocean.

She's left bound and gagged aboard a beached shipwreck, all while still barefoot and clad only in a skimpy yellow bikini.

To say that this is one of my favorite scenes is putting it very mildly.

I discovered this film on VHS, and that was where I got these vidcaps, which were originally posted on my old website.

At one point she sees a plane flying overhead. Rescue is so close and yet so very far!

She's eventually rescued. This is a very nice scene that runs for a pretty long time in the film. See if you can track down a copy of Furia Asesina. This scene will make the hunt worth it.
