1 BR

Nicole Brydon Bloom stars as Sarah in the horror/thriller 1BR as a young woman looking to start a new life in the big city (LA).

She moves into an apartment that seems a little too good to be true at first.

And it becomes too good to be true when she's abducted in her own apartment, getting tied with plastic strips to a chair.

Sarah's barefoot when she's grabbed, so there are some nice shots of her bare feet getting tied.

She tries to escape by knocking over her chair and breaking it. I like how her abductor, upon seeing this, says "Damned Ikea...."

She runs around with her hands tied behind her until she's recaptured again. As she's being brainwashed into the weird cult that runs the apartment building, Sarah is barefoot the entire time, clad in a surgeon-style shirt and pants.

Sarah's friend eventually gets caught up with the cult, and she's also tied up while BF (nice cross-tie of her feet there). 1 BR is a great little horror flick, on top of the good scenes (which are admittedly very dark; I had to brighten them up here). It's highly recommended and is presently playing on Netflix.

Interesting Delivery (Oliver Maass)

A woman has been kidnapped and is being conveyed by her abductors in the back of a van. And they've made sure she can't escape.

She's handcuffed to the wall of the van.

And gagged with tape, for good measure.

One of her bare feet is tied, making her reach with her other bare foot to try and pull the rope off, but to no avail. Update: I've been informed that this scene is from the German TV series Oliver Maass, at the end of the fourth episode, and the beginning of the fifth (thanks!). You can see the clip of this scene right here.

Chadwick Boseman

I was very sorry to hear the news--just barely an hour ago--about how actor Chadwick Boseman has died from colon cancer. He played legendary baseball player Jackie Robinson, Chief Justice Thurgood Marshall, and singer James Brown in various films.

But he was probably best known for his role as Black Panther, starting in Captain America: Civil War, through two Avengers movies, and in his own Black Panther film. No matter what the project, Boseman always uplifted it with his acting skills. Rest in peace.

The new neighbor

My new Poser picture shows a captured woman receiving a new (very scary) neighbor in her jail cell. Who (or what) is her new neighbor? Find out right here.

House

In addition to Star Wars, 1977 also saw the release of House (Hausu), a Japanese horror film directed by Nobuhiko Ôbayashi.

It's about a group of Japanese girls who spend their vacation time at a friend's aunt's house--not knowing that the aunt is dead, and the house is haunted.

The girls go barefoot a great deal in this film, making themselves at home in the house despite the weird goings-on.

In spite of several horrific killings, which includes a lot of gore, House manages to be weirdly charming.

It helps that the chilling moments are offset by over-the-top comedy that boarders on being extremely silly. House is a very weird horror/comedy film with some great BF scenes.

Band Of Gold

Samantha Morton stars in this second season episode (Hustling) of Band Of Gold as a sex worker who tries to leave--but is stopped by her client who is not ready for her to go, yet.

He ties her down to the bed and leaves her there. I would show more pictures of this, but she's bare-chested, and there's a no-nudity clause here. The clip itself is pretty short, but shows everything. Morton's character is rescued from her dilemma. You can see the scene right here.

28 Weeks Later

28 Weeks Later is the sequel to 28 Days Later, the zombie movie about England being taken over by people possessed by a rage virus that turns them into homicidal zombies.

Catherine McCormack stars as a woman who is strapped down in a lab. That's Rose Byrne standing by her side.

The rage virus from the first film has largely burnt itself out in England at the start of the sequel.

But once the barefoot McCormack breaks free, the rage virus becomes all the rage once more.

Also starring Jeremy Renner, Robert Carlyle, Idris Elba, and Imogen Poots, 28 Days Later is just as good as the first film and is highly recommended for its BF bondage scene, as well as a lot more.

The Batman and more DC

The DC FanDome was held online today, and we got a trailer for the Zack Snyder Cut of Justice League, which wasn't a surprise. But what was a surprise to me was the first trailer for The Batman, directed by Matt Reeves.  Hard to believe they got a trailer this good from a film that is still only twenty five percent shot.

In short, The Batman looks fantastic. It has a very welcome dark and gritty atmosphere, and Robert Pattinson looks great as both the Batman and Bruce Wayne. The beat-down scene in this trailer ended all doubt for me regarding this Batman. I like what I've seen of the new Catwoman, and I'm also really looking forward to seeing this film's take on the Riddler and Penguin.

And Zack Snyder's version of the Justice League also looks very good. I didn't care for the version of JL that was released to theaters in 2017, and I'm looking forward to seeing Snyder's original vision restored. This will be coming to HBO Max in 2021.

Caught Red

In my latest Poser picture, a loyal minion gets the drop on a snooping redhead and then reports to his boss. Wanna listen in on the conversation? Then go right here.

Alias Smith & Jones

This is a short skit from a British TV comedy series. Two kidnappers take a woman for ransom. They call up her loved ones.

The bound and gagged woman is clad in a nice summery dress and is barefoot.  Her situation is played for laughs, although she does get smacked by one of the bad guys--which is really uncalled for!

It's brief, about a minute long, but nice. You can see this clip right here.

The Order

After finishing Teenage Bounty Hunters, which I loved, I dove into another Netflix show, The Order. I'm halfway through the first season, and so far it's been pretty 'meh' for me. The Order isn't grabbing my interest like TBH did.

But I really like the publicity shot of Sarah Grey, sans shoes, above. I admit that it was this picture that got me interested in seeing The Order in the first place.

If only she went barefoot in the show like this (and so far, she doesn't), it might make it more worthwhile for me.

Teenage Bounty Hunters

I recently finished watching Teenage Bounty Hunters on Netflix and enjoyed it very much. It was the perfect blend of action and comedy, with a great cast that is led by Maddie Phillips and Anjelica Bette Fellini as the twin girls who take up bounty hunting as a side gig. As silly as it sounds, the series makes this premise work nicely.

There's a scene in the last episode of the season, when Fellini gets tied up in the bathroom of a trailer home (not a BF scene, though). But I would recommend the overall series if you're looking for a good laugh. I hope there's a second season.

By the way, Fellini looks like she's gagged in the picture above, but that's just the result of a very conveniently placed shaft of light. I like this picture, it gives them a real nice Nancy Drew vibe.

Various & Sundry

Just thought I'd post some various and sundry pictures.

It's mid-August, after all, which seems like the perfect time for pictures of barefoot women.

Even slightly weird (although still very interesting) pictures of barefoot women.

So happy mid-August to you. Enjoy these warm and perfect times to go barefoot before the chill of Fall.

Devil Lady

You would think, with a name like Devil Lady, that she would be the villain of this animated series.

But no, Devil Lady is the hero who eventually rescues this young damsel.

She's captured by her host, who drugs her. When she wakes up the school outfit-clad girl finds herself trussed up (and barefoot).

Apparently, there's some weird shit going on in the basement of the house, as the unfortunate girl soon finds out.

Stuff just gets crazier and crazier once she's dropped into the basement of horrors.

After all this weirdness, Devil Woman would seem pretty darn normal, I'm telling ya.

She may be rescued from the wild stuff, but this poor girl might be in therapy for a while afterwards. Who can blame her?

Star Trek Lower Decks

Hi there! This used to be a post about how the first episode of Star Trek: Lower Decks was up on YouTube for free. But guess what? Yep, those rat-bastards took it down already (seriously, I don't think it was up for a full week).

And when a video gets taken down that I have a link to, there's just an ugly blank space here. So, enjoy this picture of a Borg Cube, instead. It's taken from the movie Star Trek: First Contact.

Anna's back

My reporter, Anna Cushing, has returned and is back in trouble once more. She's been captured and tied up and is being made to wait for the arrival of her old enemy, Doctor Macabre. But she winds up under the watchful eye of an unusual guard. See all the gory details right here.

Black Snake

So there's this movie called Black Snake that was released in 2019 (back in the days before the pandemic when the streets were still paved in gold).

Not to be confused with a Russ Meyer flick of the same name, the full title of this one is Black Snake: La légende du serpent noir.

It features a barefoot and bound damsel in distress being rescued from the villain's lair.

I haven't seen the whole movie yet, but this looks like it might be a lot of fun. You can see the short but good clip right here.

47 Meters Down Uncaged

I recently watched 47 Meters Down Uncaged, and like the original film, the sequel has plenty of gorgeous young women being threatened by sharks.

This time, they're being menaced by great whites in the confined spaces of underwater caves in Mexico. There are also submerged ancient ruins for them to swim around in.

And, just like in the first film, the girls all go scuba diving while barefoot.

There's four young women swimming around this time, and they all spend the better part of the film's running time sans shoes.

The underwater ruins make for some interesting visuals, as well as the scant outfits on the ladies.

These 47 Meters movies make me wonder if going barefoot while scuba diving is the new rage, or if it's just in these films. I hope they make a third 47 Meters Down film with more barefoot scuba diving ladies.

In any event, 47 Meters Down Uncaged (it sounds like an aquatic wrestling match) is a lot of fun, as well as being a very good BF movie. See it.
