Penny Dreadful

The first episode of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels is available for free on the Tube of U. Natalie Dormer, from Game of Thrones, stars as a demon/goddess/witch who is up to no good in 1938 Los Angeles. She's pretty good at rousing up trouble. Brent Spiner, Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation, appears as a police captain (hey, he finally made captain!) in two scenes.

There are no BF/bondage scenes in here--at least not in this first episode. The series might produce a scene or two down the line, just like the original Penny Dreadful did, but I'm not bothering to get Showtime to find out.

This first episode left me feeling pretty "meh" overall. See it for yourself for free before they take it down.

Snow White and the Huntsman

I was watching Chris Hemsworth in the new Netflix movie Extracted (it was very good, BTW) when I remembered that he starred in a movie that had a female barefoot bondage scene.

It was Snow White and the Huntsman, another of Hemsworth's non-Thor roles.

The bound (or, in this case, chained), barefoot damsel here turns out to be none other than Charlize Theron, playing Ravenna.

But Ravenna turns out to be not as innocent a damsel as she looks. While her scene is brief, it is pretty good. And the movie overall is also well-worth watching. It's an enjoyable fantasy flick that also stars Kristen Stewart, who recently did the fantastic Underwater.

Chugyeogja

Yeong-hie Seo stars in Chugyeogja, a Korean thriller where she finds herself the captive of a serial killer.

Although she was already barefoot in the opening scene, the killer further strips her down to a white slip.

He also puts her in a very tight hogtie.

The clip, like the bondage, is very intense. It's very dark, tonally. You can see this scene (which I did not clip) right here.

Happy Alien Day

Happy Alien Day! It's April 26 (426) once again.

These screen captures are from Alien: Resurrection, the third direct sequel from the original Alien film.

Sigourney Weaver stars here as a clone of Ellen Ripley who's not behaving herself with the doctor (who could really improve his bedside manner, as well).

Ripley is eventually made to behave. But I think it's more because she feels like it.

Alien: Resurrection also stars Winona Ryder (Stranger Things), Ron Perlman (Hellboy 1&2), Dan Hedaya (Cheers) and Brad Dourif (the Chucky movies). It's a fun B-movie that's highly recommended, and not just for its BF scenes.

What are you up to?

Liza knew her twin sister was up to no good (the fact that Hera had tied up Liza in her own apartment was a pretty good sign), but what Liza wanted to know was what exactly was Hera up to, now? See the horrid situation in my latest Poser picture right here.

The Missing

Evan Rachel Wood is probably best known these days for her role on HBO's Westworld. And she does a magnificent job on that series, which takes place in a amusement park-like old West setting.

But Westworld wasn't Evan Rachel Wood's first exposure to the western genre. Back in 2003, she co-starred in The Missing.

Directed by Ron Howard, The Missing was a great western that also starred Cate Blanchett and Tommy Lee Jones as a father and his grown daughter who go seeking Evan Rachel Wood's character, who is abducted by a raiding party.

Evan Rachel Wood spends the better part of the film's running time as a bound and gagged captive of the villains.

If you haven't seen The Missing, you should. It's a very well done film that's highly recommended overall.

Bound Hills 90210

On this episode ("Liars") of 90210 (the series that was too cool to use the entire title from the old show) AnnaLynne McCord gets tied to a chair in her apartment by an intruder.

Thankfully (for us), she's barefoot at the time of being taped to her chair.

She protests mightily, but to no avail.

In fact, instead of untying her, the intruder winds up tying up her friend (played by Jessica Stroup) as well.

These vidcaps are pretty old; they were originally going to go up on my then-new website back in the late aughts. But that website, coming soon after the old Knotbusters site had been retired, never got off the ground.

When I came across these 'caps on an old DVD data disc, I figured it was time they finally made their premier, even if the TV show they're from is now long gone.

I believe I now have a clip of this scene somewhere. I'll take a look for it. In the meanwhile, please stay safe.

Tattoo You

Back in 1981, a movie called Tattoo was released. It dealt with a woman, played by Maud Adams, who was abducted by a maniac, played by Bruce Dern, who wanted to "paint" her body with a massive tattoo--completely against her will, of course.

Alas, the movie itself had no bondage. But there was this wonderful poster that came out in advance of its release. If only the movie had this scene! But at least we still have this poster.

BTW, this was a scan of the actual poster that I had clipped out of a very expensive movie magazine (you can still see the tape that I used to adhere this to a poster board). I still think this picture was well worth the expense.

Francis or Frances?

I've come across this clip in my collection that's named Francis Fisher, which I assume is the name of the actress who's in the clip.

But is it Frances Fisher, who appeared in Titanic as Kate Winslet's mother? Or another Francis Fisher who spells her name differently?

Whoever this nice actress is, she's bound and gagged onscreen by a villain and left tied in the deep dark woods. And she's also barefoot, as well! You can see this clip right here.

Finding out about Namora

Been doing some research into Atlantis for the latest Ryta The Jungle Girl book, and I came across Namroa, a Marvel superhero.

Apparently, she's the cousin of Prince Namor, the Submariner--and like him, she goes barefoot all of the time. She's half-human/half-Atlantian.

I guess I shouldn't be too surprised that I never heard of her until now, since I don't read comics as much as I did when I was younger. But seeing how she likes going sans shoes, I may try and get some back issues, now.

The Waiting Room

Gail and Marc thought they could get away with robbing gangsters, but they weren't counting on the reaction that they got. Find out what happened in my latest Poser picture right over here.

Underwater

Kristen Stewart stars in Underwater, a deep-dive horror film about the crew of an underwater rig being terrorized by strange creatures.

The movie begins with a barefoot Stewart getting ready to put on her shoes when she's interrupted by odd noises.

She promptly ditches her shoes, puts on a jacket instead--and winds up going barefoot for a large chunk of Underwater's running time.

She eventually puts on one of these big, bulky diving suits. But whenever she takes it off, which is often, Stewart goes barefoot.

She also spends a good portion of the film as scantily clad as possible. And she looks great.

Near the end of the film, Stewart is clad in just a bra and panties--while still barefoot, of course.

In addition to having plenty of BF goodness with its lead actress, Underwater is also a fantastic movie in its own right. It's riveting, scary, and a vastly entertaining ride. Don't miss it.

DUNE

As you may know, there's a new version of the classic science fiction story DUNE coming at the end of this year.

DUNE was originally filmed back in 1984 by David Lynch, and it had a barefoot bondage scene featuring actress Francesca Annis as the Lady Jessica.

Jessica, having been captured by the Harkonnen (the bad guys), is tied down to a stretcher, her mouth gagged so that she can't use the Voice to persuade her captors into doing her bidding.

She wears a sizable muzzle in her captivity scenes.

And having been abducted from her bed, Jessica is barefoot, as well.

When she's freed, you can see the extent of her muzzle, which has a plug. The Harkonnens weren't fooling around!

Rebecca Ferguson stars as Lady Jessica in the new version of DUNE. Here's hoping she also has a scene just like the one in the 84 film. You can see the Vanity Fair article on the New DUNE film, complete with pictures, right here.

Morangos com Açúcar

In the soap opera Morangos com Açúcar, Catarina Mira finds herself tied to a chair.

Happily (for us) she's barefoot.

It's a short, but very sweet, scene. Enjoy, and please stay safe. You can see this right here.
