Katherine Heigl was the star of Descendant, and she was one of the best things in this film.
At the climax of the film, she gets tied down to a bed by her crazy husband, who's being egged on into a life of depravity by the ghost of Edgar Allan Poe (it's a long, sordid story).
It's hard to hide from a crazed madman with a knife when you're trussed to a bed. Peekaboo, Katherine!
Thankfully, the hubby launches into a wild-eyed exposition speech before doing anything.
It's lucky for Katherine, because it gives her rescuers time to save her.
But, like all good maniacs, you just can't keep this guy down, even after stabbing, shooting and yelling nasty curses at him. Katherine Heigl is barefoot in this scene, too.
