Bridget Fonda in Jackie Brown

My favorite Quentin Tarantino movie is Jackie Brown, and my favorite scenes within this film involve Bridget Fonda.

Fonda stars here as Melanie Ralston, a beach bunny.

Fonda goes barefoot for the better part of the film's running time, which may have something to do with why she's my favorite character here. But Jackie Brown is a superb movie overall, with a great cast, a tight script, and much suspense.

Ant Man and the Wasp

I enjoyed the first Ant Man movie very much, and I'm looking forward to seeing the sequel, if for no other reason than to see Evangeline Lilly in action as the Wasp. This trailer shows a little bit of her as the Wasp, and it looks very cool. As much as I love the team ups in the Avengers films, it's nice to see these heroes strut their stuff in their own adventures.

My old Lair of the White Worm vidcaps

The original vidcaps that I did for A Bell From Hell gave me the idea to do more. So here are my original 'caps of Sammy Davis and Catherine Oxenberg from Lair of the White Worm, from my old web site.

This was directed by Ken Russell and was an extremely fun horror movie. Check it out if you can.

Miami Vice

Olivia Brown stars in this episode of Miami Vice, named "Asian Cut", where she is captured by the bad guys.

She's stripped of her shoes and tied down to a table, where an evil dude in a bad robe explains the joys of torture, which is not a good situation to be in if you're the one tied down to the table.

Of course, Miss Brown is rescued by Crockett and Tubbs (sounds like a deluxe coffee maker), who take down the bad guys and rescue her from any more of the evil guy's lecture.

No word if Don Johnson sang "Heartbeat" for her--if he didn't, then maybe that's just as well. This was clipped by Raffish, and you can view/download this clip right here.

Jack Ketchum & Ursula K. Le Guin

Jack Ketchum passed away a day ago. His real name was Dallas William Mayr, but under his Ketchum pseudonym he was a horror novelist who won the Bram Stoker Award four times. His novels included The Girl Next Door, Off Season, and The Woman. He also wrote the novella, Right To Life, the cover of which can be seen above.

Ketchum's fiction was relentless and unflinching. He dared to go to the dark areas of horror in his finely-crafted stories. He will be missed. RIP.

We also lost Ursula K. Le Guin, who was best known for her SF works. She probably gained her greatest fame when PBS produced a movie from her novel, The Lathe of Heaven, back in 1980 (when the movie originally aired, she wasn't able to see it because her area suffered a black out). Her writing sparkled with great imagination and wit. She, too, will be missed. RIP.

New pic on Deviant Art

My latest Poser picture involves a bikini-clad woman who becomes the (unwilling) overnight guest of a tribe in the jungles (don't you hate it when that happens?). You can see it on my Deviant Art page right here.

Croft Fan Film

The upcoming Lara Croft movie, Tomb Raider, has a new trailer, and I was going to post it here. But then I recalled how much the trailer reminded me of this film, Croft. I figured if, given a choice, you'd probably want to watch an entire movie instead of a trailer.

Croft is a fan-made film about a woman adventurer who risks all to save the life of a captured young girl in the mountains. The stunt work is incredible, the acting is on par, and the film overall is very gripping and exciting. And this is just a fan film!

I'm still looking forward to the new Tomb Raider movie, but it's going to have to be pretty amazing to top this fan film.

Boat hostage

Thanks to a heads up from a poster on Brian's Page, we have this nice scene from the internet series "Break a Leg" featuring actress Alexis Boozer bound and gagged (barefoot) aboard a boat.

The video is below, keyed to start the moment the scene begins.

Demonium

Claudia Abbate stars in this thriller as a blind woman who gets captured and trussed up by a killer. The killer is a real sadist who sets it up that Claudia gets killed only when her would-be rescuer opens the door, setting off a crossbow that's aimed at her. Not a happy ending, sadly, but barefoot bondage lover should like this one.

I didn't clip this scene. You can view/download this clip right here.

Klytus and Department S

The actor Peter Wyngarde passed away recently. I knew him well from his role as Klytus, the chief of security for Ming The Merciless in the 1980 Flash Gordon film (a movie that I've grown to love a great deal over the years). His Klytus, despite looking like Doctor Doom's little brother, was a memorable character who extruded great menace.

But Wyngarde was also known for his role as Jason King, a popular sleuth in two British TV series, Department S and Jason King. He's been called the inspiration for Austin Powers. The only sequence I've seen of his Jason Ming series is this scene from Department S below.

It's a goofy scene (why doesn't the woman on the bed just pull down her own gag?), but I enjoy it.

New pic on DA

A pair of women find themselves in the hot, sweaty sauna--completely against their will! It's my latest Poser picture, which you can see on my Deviant Art page right here.

I had to fix a link that was broken on this page. All the snow shoveling I've done recently must be getting to me. When's spring coming around again?

Dolores O'Riordan -- RIP

Dolores O'Riordan, the lead singer of The Cranberries, has died today. She was only 46. No word yet on cause of death. She had a hell of a range as a singer, and her talent will sorely be missed. RIP.

Contra El Tiempo

A woman is held against her will in a hospital room in this Spanish soap opera.

She's tied to the bed via straps in what would be called medical bondage.

Although they strap down an unruly patient, they usually don't use tape gags in hospitals. Turns out she's the victim of an evil doctor. Maybe this is how he give gives his patients the bill. You can view/download this clip right here.

My original vidcaps for A Bell From Hell

Here are some of my original vidcaps from the movie A Bell From Hell. This was for a request. I'm unable to post them all here because many of the pictures show the naked damsels, and the host of this blog has a no-nudity clause, which doesn't allow me to show nudity.

I'd be more than happy to repost more of my original vidcaps in the future.

New poser pic on Deviant Art

A barefoot snoop gets more trouble than she's looking for when she's captured and trussed up by the bad guys in my latest Poser picture. You can see it right here.

Update: It would help if I provided the proper link, wouldn't it? So that's what I did. This new link takes you straight to the new picture.

Blade Runner 2049

I managed to see Blade Runner: 2049 recently. And I loved it. This is a great continuation from the original Blade Runner (The Final Cut), which was released way back in 1982. Ryan Gosling takes up the Blade Runner mantle of hunting down disobedient replicants--until he stumbles across a body that leads him into a vast conspiracy.

An intelligent, thought-provoking film that still works as a dazzling SF flick, with fantastic production design and cinematography. It's just as good, if not better than, the original Blade Runner (The Final Cut) and is just as visually stunning. Don't miss it.

The Strangers Prey At Night

The original The Strangers was released ten years ago this year and starred Scott Speedman and Liv Tyler as a couple who were terrorized by three unknown assailants who wore masks the entire time. The first movie was a fantastic thriller, which managed to get Liv Tyler barefoot for just about its entire running time (which was a nice plus for me).

This sequel...well, um...judging strictly from this trailer...whoa boy...I dunno. Maybe the movie itself will be better than the trailer (which has been known to happen), so I'll keep an open mind.

But it doesn't help that the trailer plays the Tiffany song "I think we're alone now." This instantly reminds me of Weird Al Yankovic's (much better) take on this song, "I Think I'm A Clone Now". You see what I mean? The trailer doesn't exactly evoke chills and thrills. Hopefully the movie will be better. Hopefully.

A Bell From Hell

Maribel Martin, Christine Betzer, and Nuria Gimeno star in A Bell From Hell, a horror film from 1973 where they play sisters who become the prey of a psychopath in a dungeon of horrors.

Although they're strung up and bound with leather straps, the women manage to escape, thanks to their little sister, who works her way out of her bonds. This is one of my favorites. You can view/download this clip right here.

New Poser picture

A pair of sacrificial victims have been tied up in a basement to helplessly await their part in a dark ceremony. But these victims are not as helpless as they appear in my latest Poser picture. You can see it right here.

Happy Science Fiction Day

Did you know this was Science Fiction Day? I didn't until up to just an hour ago. Let's celebrate it, shall we?

I am a huge fan of Star Trek and Star Wars, but in honor of Science Fiction Day I'd like to point out another SF property that I also love: Logan's Run. I first saw this movie as a kid in the theater, and not only did I love it, I also loved Jenny Agutter (pictured in a behind the scenes moment above), who played Jessica.

It was an impressively done movie for its time, filled with big ideas and ethical quandaries that also starred Michael York and the late great Richard Jordan. There was a TV series that followed, but it was cancelled midway through its first season. I prefer the movie, anyway. Over forty years later it still holds up as a fun flight of fancy.

Gearing up for another Ryta adventure

The latest Ryta book (number twelve!) has been plotted out, and the writing has officially begun. It's still way too early to give out any story details, but everybody's coming back. I am planning to have this latest adventure up for sale by March of this year. Keep it here for all the latest details on the upcoming book, as well as all my other stuff.
