To The Devil, A Daughter

While it was made by the legendary Hammer Films, To The Devil, A Daughter is pretty bad.

The saving grace of the film--for me, anyway--is that it's got not one, but two great barefoot bondage scenes.

Actress Izabella Telezynska plays Margaret, a member of a cult who--in this scene--is about to give birth to a demonic baby.

But, in order to give birth, Margaret must be tied down to the bed with her bare legs and feet tightly bound together. It's part of the ritual of the cult that she belongs to.

And this intense bondage is something that Margaret is in full compliance with. Even so, the birth is very grisly, and ends in her death.

Later in the film, we're treated to a flashback of when Margaret became impregnated, which was during a satanic ritual.

She's tied down in spread-eagle fashion and barefoot in a wonderful shot. Nastassja Kinski has often been mistakingly identified as having the bondage scenes, here. But it was actually Izabella Telezynska in these scenes.
