Writer/director James Gunn is best known these days as the helmer of the extremely fun Guardians of the Galaxy film series for the MCU. And, more recently, Gunn became the co-leader of the DC Comics film universe, after directing The Suicide Squad (great movie!) and the Peacemaker TV series (also great!) for HBO Max.
But before his superheroics across the two best known comics universes, Gunn directed a fun little horror movie called Slither.
And Slither had more than its fair share of some very nice BF scenes.
Elizabeth Banks starred in the horror film, in which an entire rural town is taken over by alien slugs.
It also starred Michael Rooker, who would work with Gunn in the first two Guardians films, as well as The Suicide Squad. James Gunn is working on an all-new cinematic version of Superman, and I can hardly wait.
