Adrienne Barbeau stars in the 1982 film Swamp Thing, which was based on the DC Comic of the same name.
At one point in the film, Alice Cable (Barbeau) is captured by the evil Arcane (Louis Jourdan), who "invites" her to dinner.
Cable sits tied to her chair with rope, while Arcane entertains his other dinner guests, who apparently have no qualms about seeing a woman trussed to a chair.
Although she's not barefoot(Cable has been outfitted with shoes, along with the dress), this remains one of my all-time favorite bondage scenes, thanks to the ironic situation of a woman struggling for her life against her bonds--all while in the middle of a dinner party.
This first Swamp Thing movie was directed by Wes Craven, who would go on to direct the horror masterpiece A Nightmare On Elm Street right after this. Swamp Thing would get a sequel, plus several TV shows, including a recent short-lived series that aired on the CW.
