As Good As Dead

I re-watched As Good As Dead recently, and I realized something: the scene with actress Jess Weixler is no longer one of my favorite scenes, it's now one of my all-time favorite scenes.

While the movie overall is so-so, the scene where Jess gets bound and gagged by Frank Whaley is very good.

For one thing, the scene where Jess gets bound hog-tied all happens on screen.

And it's very intense--and quick, too. It doesn't take very long before she's answering her door to being trussed up hogtied on the floor.

Frank Whaley is perhaps better known from Pulp Fiction. He was also in a great SF movie called Retroactive.

There's another bondage scene in the movie with two other actresses, but Jess is the only one who's barefoot.
