I recently re-watched Phase IV, a science fiction film from the mid-1970s about a hive of super-intelligent ants whose very existence threaten the human race.
The female lead was played by Lynne Frederick, who went barefoot throughout the entire movie.
I first saw this film when I was a boy, and I had a major crush on this farm girl who preferred to go sans shoes all of the time.
The movie creeped me out, especially this scene with the ant crawling on her, but today I can't help but wonder how much of an influence this film was on me as a kid. It's nice to be able to enjoy a film overall, as well as from a BF perspective, such as the case with Phase IV.
