Halloween II

It was during a recent viewing of Halloween II that I noticed something for the very first time: the movie's heroine, Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), pretty much goes barefoot through a large chunk of the film.

She's in the hospital because of her injuries from the first film. However, since the hospital only has a skeleton crew, Michael Myers has an easy time killing people there one by one.

And so poor Laurie, thinking she can finally get some rest, winds up running for her life--this time barefoot, and clad in just a hospital gown.

Suffering a hairline fracture in her ankle, Laurie wears bandages on one of her feet while she plays her cat and mouse game with Mr. Myers.

But no matter where she is, or what she wears, nothing keeps Laurie down. Happy Halloween!

Midnight

Midnight is a low budget film about a satanic cult that kidnaps women. One of them (Maura Minteer) is wearing a blue dress and is barefoot in her backyard.

When she goes to catch a fallen frisbee, she encounters members of the satanic cult (don't you hate it when that happens?).

The scene that follows is pretty extensive.

She gets tied up and gagged on camera. Her wrists are handcuffed. The soles of her feet seem to always be pointed in the direction of the camera.

Midnight was made by some of the crew that worked with George Romero (Night of the Living Dead) on his films.

It was released on DVD--which was where I got these screen caps from for my original Knotbusters site way back when.

I haven't seen this movie since I 'capped it for the site. I should track it down again.

Wolf Lake

Wolf Lake was a TV show that aired over twenty years ago. It was about werewolves that lived near Seattle (which explains Starbucks). It didn't last one season, having been cancelled after only airing five episodes.

In the fourth episode, "Tastes Like Chicken," Sophia (Mary Elizabeth Winstead *sigh*) gets kidnapped by Nancy (Kiersten Warren) who keeps her tied up in a closet.

Nancy comes in from time to time to give Sophia some water through a hole in her tape gag.

This is a nice, long bondage scene, and Sophia is barefoot through all of it.

She's tied with rope in a hog-tie, but with her hands bound in front of her.

Later, she's trussed up in a bath tub. I figured it was time for some werewolves this Halloween season. You can see this whole scene right here.

Cult of Chucky

Cult of Chucky is the direct sequel to Curse of Chucky, with Fiona Dourif returning as Nica, who defeated Chucky in the previous film, only to be locked up in a mental hospital for her troubles.

The film opens with a barefoot Nica getting the treatment from the staff of the mental hospital, while strapped down to a table.

She's clad in standard hospital patient-wear while receiving multiple jolts.

At one point, one of the nasty nurses proves to one of her friends that Nica is paralyzed from the waist down by sticking a needle into one of her bare feet.

Later, Nica is strait-jacketed in front of her doctor--who could clearly use some mental help of his own.

Nica, who's also barefoot in this scene, gets some unwanted attention from her doctor.

She finds out that the sleaze-ball has been taking advantage of her whenever he puts her under.

Thanks to Nica being strait-jacketed this time, she's wide awake (and replused) at his show of affection for her.

Cult of Chucky is an enjoyable movie, with some very nice BF and BF bondage moments in it.

Curse of Chucky

Released in 2013, Curse of Chucky was the fifth entry in the long-running series that featured a killer toy doll named Chucky that's possessed by a serial killer.

It starred Fiona Dourif as Nica, a young woman who requires the use of a wheelchair. At one point in the film, a barefoot Nica gets tied up and gagged by one of the characters.

And just as Nica is helplessly trussed up, that's when Chucky shows up to cause some mayhem.

And Nica, being gagged and tied, can't warn her captor about the presence of the killer doll.

I wound up enjoying this one very much, despite not having seen the previous movies that came before it. Curse of Chucky had a pretty cool sense of humor about it.

The BF bondage scene was a pleasant surprise, but the film overall managed to be entertaining in spite of the fact that it takes place within one location, a creepy old house.

Interesting trivia note: Fiona Dourif is the grown daughter of actor Brad Dourif, who voices the Chucky doll. Brad Dourif was also in The Lord Of The Rings as Grima Wormtongue and in David Lynch's Dune as Piter De Vries, and in Deadwood as the doctor.

Sinister

In the movie Sinister, a true crime writer--played by Ethan Hawke--is writing a book on a series of family slayings when he comes across a series of super 8 films that show the murders.

In each of the films showing the slayings, the families are all bound and gagged at first, before they are killed. These show a family that had been enjoying their swimming pool before they were captured and tied to deck chairs. The victims are all barefoot and clad in just bathing suits.

The deck chairs they are tied to are weighted down, and they are each pulled into the pool to drown. At one point, the demonic entity behind this can be seen standing under the water.

The true crime writer's own family soon becomes a target of this other worldly killer, as this shot of his wife seems to foreshadow.

By the end of the film, his family have been abducted from their beds and tied up for their own ritualistic murders. It leads to a very nice BF bondage scene right here.

Probably the most horrific moment is the lawnmower scene. Trust me, it's exactly what you think it is. It's hard to tell, thanks to the dimness, but I believe she was barefoot, here. Interesting choice in how she's tied up, as well.

Sinister is a perfect movie to watch during this Halloween season. As a bonus, it has some very good BF bondage scenes, as well.

The Boogey Man

Hard to believe that The Boogey Man came out forty five years ago this year.

This movie has a wonderful barefoot bondage scene that's been one of my all-time favorites since I first saw this on a rented VHS tape way back in the 80s.

Suzanna Love stars in this low budget supernatural horror film from 1980. As I've stated in previous updates, I've had this movie on several formats: VHS tape, laser disc, and now on DVD.

I was always of the opinion that this was a great BF bondage scene in a really bad movie.

Boogey Man rips off a lot from the original Halloween film. From the opening scene, with their music sounding a lot like John Carpenter's score. Watching it all the way through, the movie can get pretty boring.

But, of course, the best thing about it remains this great BF scene, which you can see right here.

House of the Devil

Jocelin Donahue stars in this great little horror flick called House of the Devil. It was released in 2009.

It might have been shot in '09, but it actually takes place in the early 1980s, and the production design is really great. I've experienced the 1980s, and this movie recreates a nice 80s vibe.

It all leads to a wonderful BF bondage scene, with a barefoot Donahue stretched out and tied in a half spread eagle position. She's gagged, as well.

No Satanic Panic here, these folks really are satanists!

The director would go on to direct X and Pearl, and Greta Gerwig, who directed the mega-hit Barbie, also has a small part here. House of the Devil is highly recommended.
