We're a little over three months out from Halloween (and I always count all of October as Halloween month, so when it hits October 1st, up go the Halloween decorations), but I was still in the mood for a horror movie.
And so I put on The Exorcism of Emily Rose, thinking it probably won't be that scary since I'm watching it in early summer.
Heh. I was wrong. I was very wrong.
Jennifer Carpenter, from Dexter, stars as Emily, a young woman who is possessed by the devil.
The one nice thing about The Exorcism of Emily Rose is that it has something for us, namely shots of Jennifer tied to the head of her bed.
There are also plenty of scenes where she goes barefoot. But it's still a very scary film--even during the light of a summer's day.
