The Haunting of Bly Manor

I recently watched The Haunting of Bly Manor on Netflix, and enjoyed it very much. The limited series was a (loose) adaptation of the Henry James story, The Turn of the Screw. Victoria Pedretti was superb as the lead character, who even managed to get tied up along the way (although she wasn't barefoot).

The Nightcomers, released in 1971, was a prequel of sorts to The Turn of the Screw (filmed as The Innocents). It starred Stephanie Beacham who was the au pair for some wealthy children in England.

She engages in an S&M relationship with the gardener, Quint (who's played by none other than Marlon Brando).

The Nightcomers features some very nice BF bondage scenes with Beacham (who would later go on to star in the TV series SeaQuest, among other things).

While Bly Manor deals with this relationship, it leaves out any mention of there being bondage, or anything kinky between the characters. So it's only The Nightcomers, which serves as a great prequel to the James story, that has this BF/bondage element. Personally, I think Beacham should have gotten an award for going through such a stringent hogtie.
