Elke Sommer stars in The Corrupt Ones, where she gets tied in spread-eagle fashion to a wooden frame.
As if this wasn't bad enough, the bad guys hung a metallic container filled with acid over her head. Elke is barefoot throughout this scene.
The acid begins splashing dangerously close--which makes me wonder if the acid would accidentally release her if it landed on her bonds.
Fortunately she's released just in the nick of time, where she runs into the arms of Robert Stack, the host of Unsolved Mysteries, Airplane, and the Untouchables. I miss seeing Bob on the new Unsolved Mysteries. Wouldn't it be funny if he just showed up there, without explanation? That would be an Unsolved Mystery on Unsolved Mysteries.
