Tau

Maika Monroe stars in Tau, a thriller with some science fiction elements.

She's abducted by a crazed genius who wants to experiment on her. Don't you hate it when that happens?

She winds up playing a cat and mouse game with the guy, and Monroe winds up going barefoot throughout the majority of the running time of this film.

And she also spends a good portion of the film tied up.

Tau is a relentless thriller that centers on the relationship that Monroe strikes up with Tau, the central computer that controls the mansion she's locked up in.

Monroe is very good here, giving it her all even in the scenes where she's tied.
