Anna Kendrick stars as a sweet, perky single mother with a homemaker's vlog who gets caught up in a nefarious, murderous plot. Blake Lively also stars as the woman who winds up being in the center of this mystery.
Directed by Pail Feig, A Simple Favor is a black-hearted (and very funny) take on the Lifetime murder mysteries that innocent housewives keep getting mixed up in.
Alas, there's no bondage scenes (which is a staple of most Lifetime movies).
But Kendrick and Lively go barefoot in this flick, pictures of which are on display right here. A Simple Favor is still recommended as being a fun mystery that's a lot darker, funnier, and more sophisticated than the usual Lifetime movie fare.
