Production has finally begun on the new Star Trek series, and I must admit I'm really excited about this. The behind the scenes video even gives a brief glimpse of what the new ship might look like. We could really use another incarnation of Star Trek to keep us grounded by reminding us that there is indeed a future worth fighting for. And that if we can all pull together, we can solve any problem. So let the new voyage begin, and live long and prosper.
Actor John Hurt passed away today. He played so many great parts--Kane in Alien, The Elephant Man, Hellboy, V For Vendetta, Contact, 1984, Doctor Who--that it's hard for me to just pick one as my favorite. He was a great talent who shall be missed.
I recently saw the science fiction movie Passengers starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt. And while I enjoyed it very much, it also gave me an idea for a Poser picture.
We've heard of the idea of people traveling to other planets in stasis pods, but what if somebody is a convict who needs to be transported this way?

Someone recreated the battle for Russia--when Nazi Germany invaded Soviet Russia back during the Second World War--using Lego sets and pieces. It moves at a fast pace and plays just as well as a good war movie. Great job.
Lyllah Torena stars in Fly Me as a stewardess who runs afoul of slavers. She gets tied up aboard a boat clad in nothing but her panties. While her captor is sleeping, Lyllah does a wonderful writhing scene where she reaches for a glass with her bound hands and eventually frees herself.
I'd show you more pictures, but Miss Torena is bare-chested throughout the scene, which is NSFW. The first three minutes are my favorite moments from this clip, as the rest of it shows an older actress (fully dressed) getting tied up and a bound and gagged and Torena getting assaulted. This is early seventies exploitation, so brace yourself for some roughness.
