47 Meters Down

What with The Meg 2 (Electric Boogaloo) coming out, as well as another Shark Week series of specials surfacing this August, I'm reminded of my own favorite shark movies, one of which is 47 Meters Down: Uncaged.

Uncaged is the sequel to the original 47 Meters Down, which is pretty good.

But while the original had two barefoot women scuba divers, Uncaged has a far larger group of them, and they all go diving in their bare feet as well.

But Uncaged also has a better, more exotic storyline, with these young BF women diving in an underwater cave system that contains the ruins of a Mayan city.

They also have to contend with these terrifying sharks that inhabit the submerged cave system. Living as they do in the dark, these sharks have evolved into albinos with milky white eyes.

And the sight of these snow-white sharks emerging from the murky gloom is pure nightmare fuel.

So yeah, The Meg is a lot of fun--I enjoyed the first film, at least. But give me movies with barefoot women battling sharks every time.

AMA Short Film

AMA is a short film that's basically an underwater ballet. The water is so clear that at first I wondered if the dancer, Julie Gautier, was really submerged.

But when she begins her wondrous dance, she is indeed underwater. Gautier also directed this short.

And she's barefoot throughout. What does it all "mean"? I don't really care, because it was very soothing for me to watch. There's a 'making of' video, that's in the links on its YouTube page, which you'll find below:

Intimate Stranger

An actress with a single name, Tatiana, stars in Intimate Stranger. She plays a sex worker who finds herself the captive of a serial killer.

She's bound and gagged, tied down spread-eagle to a table. And she's also naked (NSFW).

She serves as the sacrificial character who shows just how evil the main villain is, so unfortunately she doesn't survive this encounter. The clip for this can be DL right here.

Wired Shut

Wired Shut tries to be a dark-hearted thriller involving a wealthy writer and his enstranged daughter who both get taken hostage in the writer's mansion.

Natalie Sharp plays Emmy, the daughter of the writer, who gets tied up in her bare feet.

She gets tied up by the middle of the film and stays that way for the rest of the movie's running time.

The villain even does the usual nasty taunting over his captive, Emmy, while she helplessly sits there.

Emmy is moved to another part of the house on the private elevator.

She eventually escapes with her father. The barefoot bondage scenes are very good, even if the movie overall isn't.

Barefoot Women Vs. Bronze Cowboy

There's a video series on YouTube with a guy who dresses up as a bronze cowboy. He sits on benches in public areas and pretends to be a statue...and then jumps out at unsuspecting people who walk by.

He springs his trap on Australia's Gold Coast, by the beach, and there are plenty of barefoot women in this clip, which you can see below:

The Flying Dutchman

Eric Roberts, the older brother of Julia Roberts, stars as the villain in this film, The Flying Dutchman (also known as Frozen In Fear).

Here, he captures a young woman played by Ellina McCormick and ties her down to a table. Her mouth is gagged with a muzzle, and she struggles aplenty.

She's completely naked, and her wonderfully nude body is shown in full view (NSFW). You can see this clip right here.
