Alice Eve, who's perhaps best known for Star Trek: Into Darkness, stars in the upcoming Chum.
I initially mis-read the title and wrongly thought it was a remake of the 1980s horror flick Chud.
But no, it's CHUM, as in the bloody stuff they throw overboard to attract sharks.
And, judging from the trailer, there's sharks galore. As well as plenty of bondage, too.
This looks like it may be a good one for those who enjoyed Dangerous Animals. You can see the trailer for Chum right here:
When I said that Dangerous Animals was just ok, I didn't mean to say that I hated it.
Far from it; I don't hate DA, largely thanks to its BF bondage scenes.
The movie just didn't offer any surprises for me--unlike Weapons, which blew me away with its originality while remaining a chilling horror film (yet Weapons had no scenes for us).
Dangerous Animals is another decent entry in the Shark Horror sub-genre.
But, again, it really helps that the movie has its lead actress goo barefoot throughout.
I've always been more of a fan of vidcaps, or screen captures, of scenes from movies and TV shows.
I already put up some caps, along with a clip, from the movie Dangerous Animals. But I haven't seen the entire movie at that point.
Now I have seen DA (and it's OK, if predictable), and I was able to get some very nice vidcaps from the film.
Hassie Harrison and Ella Newton are the captured prey of a serial killer (played by Jai Courtney) who uses sharks to kill his victims.
Both women are barefoot for the better part of the film, and they're bound, as well. The killer has them chained to their bunks in the decks below his boat.
And, as you can see, there are plenty of very nice shots, here.
And there's more to come.
Happy Summer! At least for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere. And what better way to celebrate summer's return than watching Shark Night.
Shark Night is the perfect summery movie for us.
A bunch of twentysomethings go on a vacation to a house on a lake. But the lake is filled with sharks! And killer rednecks (in boats)! Limbs, as well as lives, are lost to the horror of shark lake. Dum dum dum!
No bondage for the women, but Shark Night is still recommended for being a great BF flick. The female cast go barefoot throughout the film, as well as wear bikinis. What better way to get yourself into a warm, summery mood? Happy Summer!
I came across the poster above online and was like, "WTF is this?" Dangerous Animals is a new movie that's being released in the States in theaters on June 6 (this coming Friday). It's an Australian horror film starring Hassie Harrison and Jai Courtney.
Harrison plays a surfer who gets abducted by a psycho (Courtney) who likes to feed his victims to sharks. It's basically the same theme as the recent thriller Dead Sea. But this looks very slick and pretty intense. It also has a lot of barefoot scenes with Harrison and another woman, including some with bondage (see pic above). For Your Eyes Only is my favorite of the Roger Moore James Bond films (with The Spy Who Loved Me a close second).
When captured by the bad guys after diving for an important device, Bond and Melina, played by the gorgeous Carole Bouquet, are tied up facing each other on the deck of their boat.
They are going to be dragged through the water behind a boat as shark bait.
Although her feet are not tied, Carole is barefoot throughout this scene, and she's clad in just black bikini bottoms with a white shirt.
And there's pplenty of barefoot shots of her to be seen while she and Bond are being dragged through the water.
She and Bond survive their ordeal, of course.
47 Meters Down: Uncaged isn't your typical cage match. Oh no, that's because it's uncaged, baby. It's also mostly underwater.
Uncaged is the sequel to the original 47 Meters Down, but it's not a direct sequel, because none of the characters from the first film come back.
Like the first film, Uncaged has gorgeous barefoot women verses sharks. But this time, there's a larger group of women, and they all go diving barefoot this time as well.
Uncaged has a better, more exotic storyline, with this group of young BF women diving in an underwater cave system that contains the ruins of a Mayan city.
They also have to contend with these terrifying sharks that inhabit the submerged cave system. Living as they do in the dark, these sharks have evolved into albinos with milky white eyes.
And the sight of these snow-white sharks emerging from the murky gloom is pure nightmare fuel.
So yeah, the first 47 Meters Down is a lot of fun. But what's better than a film with two barefoot women in it? A movie with a LOT of barefoot women in it.
Before Buffy The Vampire Slayer even aired as a TV series, it was a movie. And in the movie, Buffy was played by Kristy Swanson.
Kristy Swanson also starred in an action thriller called Red Water, about the crew of a small oil rig who're taken hostage by a bunch of bad guys.
And Kristy, since she's aboard the floating rig, gets taken captive as well.
But not only is she tied up for most of the film's running time, Kristy is barefoot, too.
There are some very nice BF and bondage scenes in Red Water with Kristy.
And the bondage scenes go on for a while, with Kristy walking around with her hands tied behind her back while chatting with the villain.
As a movie overall, Red Water is meh, ok. But it's strongly recommended for the BF bondage.
What with The Meg 2 (Electric Boogaloo) coming out, as well as another Shark Week series of specials surfacing this August, I'm reminded of my own favorite shark movies, one of which is 47 Meters Down: Uncaged.
