SK Babies

Tanja Wedhorn stars as a policewoman who's been kidnapped by some evil fiends!

She been left strung up over a pool, being held up by the hero, who's been tied into position in an ovelry complex manner that Rube Goldberg would approve of. As always, I didn't clip this, but you can find this right here.

John Carpenter and Joe Dante

John Carpenter directed the original Halloween (and is gearing up to produce a remake) as well as the fantastic The Thing, They Live, The Fog, and a host of other great movies.

Joe Dante directed Gremlins and its very funny sequel Gremlins 2, The Howling, as well as several other very enjoyable films. Both of these directors give separate highly entertaining interviews on Marc Maron's podcast. Enjoy.

Riptide redux

Somebody asked for this clip from Riptide to be put back up. So here it be. A barefoot, bikini-clad cutie is kept as a bound hostage in a beach shack until her rescue.

And, actually, yes, I did clip this one myself. You can find this right here.

Game of Thrones

Just watched the final episode of the sixth season of Game of Thrones, and it was marvelous. Just when I thought they couldn't top The Battle Of The Bastards episode from last week, I tune in this week and see that they did. I'm only sorry that we have to wait almost a year for the next season.

The clip above is the music from the opening scene of tonight's episode, The Winds Of Winter.

Bats and Crocs and Lasers

What if bats and crocs were armed with lasers. I was rooting for the bats.

Darth By Darthwest

"DARTH BY DARTHWEST"-"VADOR AUX TROUSSES". Short Film. from Fabrice Mathieu on Vimeo.

Instead of a crop duster, Cary Grant gets chased by a TIE fighter in this imaginative mash up of North By Northwest and Star Wars. Surprisingly, it works extremely well. The original Bernard Herrmann music also fits very nicely here, too.
