Apex

Netflix recently released a movie called Apex, which is still playing on there as of this writing.

Charlize Theron (Atomic Blonde, Mad Max: Fury Road) stars here as Sasha, a rock climber who's grieving the loss of her husband on a mountaineering excursion gone wrong.

Swearing off rock climbing (and who can blame her?) Sasha decides to go kayaking in Australia, only to run into a psychopath named Ben (Taron Egerton, from Kingsman: The Secret Service).

The rest of the movie is a cat and mouse chase through theAustralian wilderness. At one point Sasha is captured by Ben, who chains her up arms above her head.

Ben also removes Sasha's shoes, and she goes barefoot from that moment onward in the film.

Sasha also goes barefoot during an arduous climb up the side of a mountain. It's a great BF bondage scene that lasts for the second half of the movie.

Apex is a great film, overall. It's a well-made action/thriller that keeps you on your toes.
