The Witcher

Freya Allan plays Princess Cirilla of Cintra in The Witcher. She's basically the damsel in distress of the series, as she's either running from--or getting captured by--various creeps and cretins. Allan recently co-starred in the fantastic Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.

In episode six of the first season, she's captured by one of these cretins, who ties her to a tree.

Granted, she's not barefoot (although it looks a little chilly to be going BF, anyway), but I still like this scene a great deal, thanks to the tight bonds and even tighter gag. You can see this right here.

The Witcher...now with lightsabers!

I've mentioned several times now that I'm a big fan of Netflix's The Witcher. A sure sign that you've made it atop the pop culture heap is when they start taking scenes from your show and turn them into lightsaber battles.

To be honest, I thought the swordfighting in the scene was so great that it didn't need anything else, but I still enjoyed this clip all the same. Warning: the gory parts have been left in. This scene makes me wish we can see an R-rated lightsaber battle someday in Star Wars.
