A creative genius made the Batcave from Lego pieces. It stands six feet tell, has a rotating parking platform that displays the various Batmobilbes, and has a full-sized Batwing on display right behind the massive Batcomputer. Oh, and there's a completed Wayne Manor seated on top of all of this. This is just very cool; a superb job to all involved.
Someone re-created the battle of Geonosis, from Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, in Lego form. Not only did they recreate the actual battle, with Droids verses Clone troopers, but they also built a Droid factory inside of a mountain--again, all from Lego sets.
And as if all of this wasn't enough, the conveyor belts in the Droid factory all work (well, except for one that broke down). Some great attention to detail here by some creative minds.
You would think Lego City would be a nice, peaceful place. But it looks like the cops there have their work cut out for them in this video. It's over twenty minutes, but is made up of shorter vignettes that show the Lego police battling crime on land, air and sea.
Lego has produced an all new version of the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars. It comes in two versions, the Falcon that was seen in The Empire Strikes Back, or the "present day" Falcon that will be seen in the upcoming The Last Jedi.
And it even comes with Porgs, too!
While it looks great, featuring an interior (complete with the 3D chess set table), the price is a little terrifying. $800.00. Yep, eight hundred dollars. For that kind of cheddar, this baby should be able to make the kessel run in twelve parsecs for real.
I saw the Lego Batman movie this past weekend and enjoyed it very much. It's very funny, with a lot of crossovers between Batman and other franchises (Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings), but the story still makes sense and is even touching in some spots (hard to believe I was getting caught up in the lives of Lego figures, but there you go).
The people who made this were obviously big Batman fans, because everything from Batman's world is either mentioned or referenced, including past films and the 1966 TV show. It was a fun-filled ride that I'd like to take again soon.
Two of my favorite things are Legos and Star Wars, and here's a video with both of them. This guy did not build the standard Lego Star Destroyer kit. No, he actually built his own, super-sized Lego SD.
It's far larger than the regular Lego SD and it also has an interior for figures! He's created a hanger bay for TIE fighters and a shuttle and even has a bridge set up with an officer being force-choked. Damn, very nice job!
