Story: Helen had tried to warn them, but they wouldn't listen. She had tried to explain to the others in the expedition that these pods that had been finding submerged deep beneath the lagoon waters were eggs from a creature that they had yet to meet. In her desperation, Helen had tried to take the eggs back to their nesting place herself, but was caught in the act by the others. She had been left bound and gagged on the deck of their boat, while she listened to their frantic deliberations as to what to do with her.
That was when the creature appeared, emerging from the waters right beside Helen's bound body. And with his (her?) merciless attack on the others, killing each and every one of them, the creature proved that it was all too real. When the creature appeared back on deck, with its eggs tucked in one fin-like hand, Helen just closed her eyes and braced herself for the end. Instead, she'd heard a loud splash in the water, and instantly realized that the creature had spared her.
