The Haunting (1999)

The Haunting, the movie released back in the 1960s that was based on the Shirley Jackson novel, The Haunting of Hill House, was remade back in 1999.

Same basic story as the original film, but with Lili Taylor as Nell.

And as with all haunted house stories, the weird shit always takes place at night, forcing our heroine to investigate in her bare feet.

And from the looks of the footprints that she's following, it appears the ghosts are also barefoot.

Even Catherine Zeta-Jones goes sans shoes for a bit.

But it's Lili Taylor's Nell who really has a rough ride of it. She winds up going barefoot for a good portion of the film.

Later, Nell gets attacked in her bed by pieces of the wall decorations, which have become possessed.

She winds up getting pinned down on her bed. This is the closst the film gets to a BF bondage scene. Happy twenty-fifth anniversary to The Haunting!
