Late August, Early September is a French film that was released 25 years ago in 1998. It's a drama about relationships set in France.
But it also had this wonderful scene involving the lead actress, Virginie Ledoyen.
Completely naked, she's playing a consensual bondage game with her boyfriend, who comes in and unties her. She's been bound hand and foot with rope.
While I wish it wasn't shot so tightly (we never get a shot of her bound bare feet), I still love the whole consensual nature of the bondage, here.
I also love the casual chat they have while she's untying her feet.
When we finally see her bare feet, they're untied. But I still adore this scene overall.
It's just very nicely done! It's one of my all-time favorite scenes.
