I'm tempted to say that this is one of my favorite so-bad-it's-good movies. But There's Nothing Out There is made with a comedic vibe that makes it a very nice spoof on the horror films of the time.
It deals with a group of young friends who all go spend some time at a cabin in the woods, taking along a guy who's a horror film buff who keeps warning them about the horror movie tropes they keep running into (to no avail).
The movie was released back in 1991, long before Scream, or any other movies started calling out the tropes in horror films. And There's Nothing Out There is actually pretty funny.
It also has some very nice scenes where the female cast go barefoot for an extended time.
Wendy Bednarz (oversized shirt) and Bonnie Bowers (bikini) are the damsels in distress.
Unfortunately, they're not tied up (if they were, this would have been a solid gold prize of a film), but with them going BF, along with their scant outfits, easily make up for the lack of restraints (although them getting tied up would have been REALLY nice).
Despite it taking place in the early 90s, the movie still holds up pretty well for what it is. Recommended.
