Smashed on Buffy

Elizabeth Anne Allen stars in this sixth season episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer called Smashed.

She plays a witch named Amy Madison, who turned into a rat several seasons ago. Willow kept Amy with her when Amy was in rat form--until this episode, where Willow found a way to change Amy back into a human.

I've always loved this moment, where she's sitting on the bed, newly changed back into a human, barefoot, and looking very overwhelmed. It's one of my favorite BF moments from a Tv show.

It's a credit to the Buffy writers that they not only remembered this character, but brought her back in the sixth season. In her own way, Amy would wind up being a problem for Buffy and the Scooby Gang. That's the thanks they get, I guess.
