Emily Blunt stars in Jungle Cruise, a film from Disney that I hadn't seen until now, despite the fact that Blunt is one of my favorite actresses. It's another movie that's based on a Disney ride, and it just didn't seem like it was worth it, to me. While I'm a big fan of Star Wars and Marvel, which Disney owns, I'm not a big fan of Disney films/properties.
In addition to be a great actress, Emily Blunt also starred in two of my all-time favorite films: A Quiet Place Parts One and Two, where she went barefoot throughout each of the movies (and they're still fantastic flicks on their own, aside from the fact the characters go BF).
When I finally saw Jungle Cruise recently, I was pleasantly surprised by two things. The first was that there's a halfway decent bondage scene with Blunt, when she, Dwayne Johnson, and Jack Whitehall all get captured by natives.
Blunt has her hands tied behind her back during the whole scene, which is played for laughs. Jungle Cruise has a nice, light-hearted Indiana Jones/Romancing The Stone adventure vibe. I wound up enjoying JC very much.
There's even a nice shot of her bound hands (probably a double) as she manages to cut herself free. Unfortunately, Blunt isn't barefoot in this scene.
However--and this is the second thing I like about this movie--Blunt does go barefoot in several nice scenes in Jungle Cruise, and her BF scenes will be the subject of the next update.
