Dario Argento recently released Dark Glasses this year, which is his brand new thriller with a blind woman dealing with a killer.
But it wasn't the first time a blind woman fought off a killer. In 2001's Demonium, Claudia Abbate played a blind woman named Maria who was captured by a mad killer after a cat and mouse chase.
She's tied to the bed, clad in just a slip, and barefoot. Some nice shots of her bound bare feet, here.
Maria's also gagged, which prevents her from warning her would-be rescuer.
The killer sets it up so that Maria will get shot and killed with an arrowonce the door to her bedroom opens. Which, unfortunately, is exactly what happens. You can see the here.
