Head Above Water (1993)

Lene Elise Bergum stars in Hodet over Vannet, which is a flick from Norway that was later remade into the Cameron Diaz film, Head Above Water.

The original Hodet over Vannet is a black comedy, or a light mystery, about malice and murder breaking out between a husband and wife to the point where the husband decides its time to kill his darling.

But the wife proves harder to kill than the Roadrunner (meep, meep!). Despite him binding and gagging her up repeatedly, the wife is also able to get herself free.

And the film shows everything in great detail--from her bondage to her escape attempts--and the actress did a superb job overall.

Of course it would have been better for me if she were barefoot. But, as it stands, this is still a great series of scenes, and all of them are included on the clip, which you can see right here.
