Released back in 1978, The Toolbox Murders starred legendary B-movie actor Cameron Mitchell as a psycho who starts killing off the tenants of an apartment building, using just his tools.
But he doesn't kill everybody. Laurie, played by Pamelyn Ferdin, gets abducted by Mitchell. And when she's first abducted, Ferdin is fully dressed and wearing shoes.
When we next see Ferdin, she's barefoot and clad in a nightie. She's also bound to a bed and gagged, making this one of the rare bondage scenes where the damsel is stripped of her clothing before being tied.
Ferdin is left tied to the bed for the better part of the latter half of the movie. The scenes are very well lit.
Mitchell comes in from time to time to "take care" of her, by giving Ferdin food and drink. He treats her gently, as if she's a wayward daughter in his deranged mind.
After going through sheer hell, Ferdin eventually makes her escape.
Before his death in 1994, Cameron Mitchell had a long acting career--in movies and then later in TV--starting back in the 1940s. He was a sturdy, dependable actor who kept working nonstop through the better part of the 20th Century.
