Raiders Comic

Since this year is still the fortieth anniversary of Raiders of the Lost Ark, and since I'm a huge fan of this film, I've been digging around for Raiders stuff. I came across these panels from the official Raiders comic book adaptation.

It's the scene where Indy comes across a bound and gagged Marion in the enemy camp. As you can see...it's not quite like the scene in the movie. Marion's tied to a chair here, and she's wearing shoes, but her feet are tied.

According to this Indy wiki page, the bondage scene with Marion isn't the only change that the comic makes. Naturally, I prefer the movie version of this scene. But still it's an interesting find. I had no idea there was even a comic book adaptation of Raiders.
