Pamela Dunlap stars in Bloody Mama as a young woman who gets tangled up with the infamous Ma Barker gang.
She's swimming in a lake, barefoot and clad in a black one piece, when she encounters one of Barker's sons (a young Robert DeNiro).
She winds up getting tied to a bed in the Barker hideout.
Ma Barker talks about how she's a liability--all while standing right over her.
The other Barker boys come to collect her (which leads to a dark demise), but Dunlap struggles and fights all the way through.
She's even still tied when they pick her up, but that doesn't stop her from viciously fighting for her life. The guys carrying her out have a real struggle on their hands, which is good to see.
A young Don Stroud plays one of Barker's boys, and the film also has Bruce Dern, Scatman Crothers, Pat Hingle, and Shelly Winters as Ma Barker.
