Superman/Batman: Apocalypse

In the animated DC Universe movie Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, we get a new origins story with Supergirl. After being taken in by Superman at the Fortress of Solitude, Supergirl discovers that Krypto doesn't really like her that much.

But she likes to go barefoot, so how bad can she be, really?

Later, Supergirl's captured by Granny Goodness and is thrown into a dark cell with her hands tied behind her.

She's barefoot, and clad in a skimpy dress. Supergirl was dressed this way because she was abducted by Darkseid's forces while swimming.

She's got a collar on her neck that apparently prevents her from using her super strength to break free of the bonds on her wrists.

Darkseid confronts her in the darkness, forcing Supergirl up against a wall. A very nice BF bondage scene in this animated movie--which is extremely well done overall.

Superman & Lois

I figured Superman & Lois would be a retread of Lois and Clark: The Adventures of Superman, a series from the 1990s that I wasn't too fond of because of its silly, soapy plotlines that treated the Superman mythos like it was a bad sitcom.

But I was really pleasantly surprised. Superman & Lois is the latest CW DC superhero show that has a completely different tone than the others, and that's a great thing. The well-written script for the pilot sets up everything without feeling too rushed, and Superman himself is treated without being too jokey. There's humor, but it's natural and not at the expense of the characters or storyline.

It's also grittier, more down to earth, without being too dark. And the effects work--particularly the sequence where Superman flies through a wall in slow motion--are stunning. Supergirl started out well, but soon devolved into constant virtue-signalling (much like Batwoman did). Here's hoping Superman & Lois avoids that. But if all of the future episodes are as well-written and as tightly directed as this first one, then it should be smooth flying for the Man of Steel. Highly recommended.

Note: there were no bondage scenes in the pilot. But, seeing how Lois is the original damsel in ditress, hopefully there will be some scenes during the season.

Palmetto

Gina Gershon is perhaps best know to those of us from her film Bound. But she also had another great scene in the movie Palmetto (1998).

And as much as I love the movie Bound, Palmetto has my favorite Gina bondage scene. Can you guess why?

While this BF bondage scene is fantasic, Palemetto overall is a very good movie, and is highly recommended for being a great mystery/thriller.

There's even a nice moment when the femme fatale even gloats over the bound Gershon.

All in all, a very nice BF bondage scene in a very nicely done movie. You can see the scene right here.

Good Boy

Blade

Did you know there was a Blade TV series? I didn't, until I saw Jill Wagner being kept chained up BF on a bed one night while channel surfing.

The name of the episode is Angels And Demons. I forget why she's chained to the bed like this. But...really, do we need a storyline when we have these wonderful images?

But Jill abruptly gets free of her manacles. I believe she freed herself--as I said, I don't recall the storyline. It's been a while since I've seen this episode. These 'caps were originally from my old web site.

Granted, it's not much of a bondage scene, but the BF aspects are enough for me to like it.

I mean, she's still chained up barefoot, after all.

But then, after she's freed, Jill takes this nice little walk right past the camera, which is at floor level.

Very nice.

The Babysitter's Seduction

Keri Russell stars in this TV movie as a babysitter who falls for the father of the kids she's taking care of. When she suspects her lover of foul play, she tries to snoop around on his computer--until she's caught by him.

He pulls off her shoes, and then her panty hose--which he then uses to tie her hands behind her back.

Although her feet are left free, Keri goes barefoot throughout this scene.

She's locked in an elevator within the mansion.

But even with her hands still tied, Keri manages to climb out of the elevator through a hatch in the roof.

She finds a closet, and uses one of the wire hangers to untie her wrists.

So while her feet never get tied, there are still some very nice shots of them here, making this one of the better BF bondage scenes.

I Care A Lot

Rosamund Pike has been one of my favorite actresses ever since I first saw her in the James Bond film Die Another Day. I've followed her career since, enjoying her roles in films like Gone Girl, Jack Reacher, and Wrath of the Titans.

She now stars in a black comedy on Netflix called I Care a Lot. Pike plays a devious advocate for the eldery who takes advantage of them and steals their money. There's a bondage scene (She's not BF and no gag) where she's tied to a chair and is being threatened by Peter Dinklage, who's fantastically scary as a gangster.

While the scene is not my cup of tea, the movie overall was very good. I Care a Lot is a maliciously great storyline filled with some truly vicious characters, with Pike's being possiby the worst of them. The fact that I still cared about her dark-hearted character is a testament to Rosamund Pike's superb acting skills.

Insoupçonnable

Insoupçonnable was a one-season French TV series about a criminologist who's trying to track down a serial killer. It's a French remake of the British series The Fall, which starred Gillian Anderson.

In the seventh episode of this series, it appears that the killer has found his next victim.

I don't know if she survives (I hope she does) but this is a WONDERFUL scene with BF bondage. You can see it right here.

Door Into Darkness

Italian horror film director Dario Argento has been referred to as the "Italian Hitchcock" because his stylish horror/thriler films. And just like Hitchcock, who hosted his own TV show, Argento also hosted his own TV show in his home country.

The series was called Door Into Darkness, and in its first episode, The Neighbor (Il vicino di casa), it had a spectacular bondage scene, featuring actress Laura Belli.

Unfortunately, she's not barefoot, but this scene is still amazing just for the sheer amount of struggling that she goes through.

She and her boyfriend have been tied up by their neighbor, who's outside digging their graves (I guess talking things over didn't work out, huh?) and Belli attempts to open the door and crawl out while still bound and gagged.

And for somebody who's bound and gagged, she's moving around quite well!

Don't worry; it ends well for Miss Belli. Although Argento directed one of the four episodes in this series first and only season, this wasn't one of them. The Neighbor was directed by Luigi Cozzi (Starcrash, Contamination).

Shallow Ground Pt 2

And now for the "Let's Be Complete!" portion of this blog, I present the other damsels in distress from the low budget horror flick Shallow Ground.

Tara Killian stars as another victim of the killer, seen tied hanging only in her panties from a tree in a flashback scene. She's cut down by the sheriff and given a jacket.

Next we have an unknown woman who's tied up in the back seat of a car. Unlike the other damsels, she's fully clothed.

While it's nice to see her struggling valiantly (and good for her) she could very easily pull that gag out of her mouth--not that this gag looks like it's very effective, anyway.
