The Boston Strangler

Sally Kellerman stars in The Boston Strangler (1968) as one of his victims who escaped.

This is an intense scene where she's getting tied down to a bed by the Strangler, played by Tony Curtis.

The rope work here concentrates on her bare foot getting tied. But that's because this is how Kellerman's character ultimately breaks free.

The Strangler doesn't tie her foot as tightly as he thought he did.

This leads to Kellerman's character pulling her leg free and bashing the Strangler with her thigh hard enough to make her escape.

Thankfully, Kellerman--as well as the real-life woman she played--survived her encounter with this sicko.

The Boston Strangler, the '68 movie, is a fantastic film, overall. It's rich with plenty of 'edge of your seat' suspense and great acting.
