I enjoyed Spider-Man: Far From Home a great deal, and it wasn't just because they used Mysterio (who's one of my favorite Spider-Man villains). The last Spider-Man movie, Homecoming, as well as the last two Avengers films, seemed intent on making Spidey an Iron Man Jr., which I didn't care for.
Without giving too much away, I will say that Spider-Man: FFM restores our favorite Wall-Crawler by eschewing the armored Iron Man-like suits for the regular Spider-Man outfits. And in doing so, it seems like Spider-Man is standing on his own as a superhero once more. The movie itself is vastly entertaining overall (just don't se it if you haven't watched Avengers: Endgame, yet). Highly recommended.
My favorite Spider-Man films (revised):
1: Spider-Man 2
2: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
3: The Amazing Spider-Man
4: Spider-Man: Far From Home
5: Spider-Man (2002)
6: Spider-Man 3
7: The Amazing Spider-Man 2
8: Spider-Man: Homecoming
