We recently lost actor Sid Haig, who was the B-Movie king for the longest time. He's perhaps best known as Captain Spaulding from director Rob Zombie's slasher movie trilogy (starting with House of 1000 Corpses), but I remember Haig best from the Roger Corman films that he did.
In The Big Bird Cage, Haig starred as a revolutionary who helps a group of women escape from a tropical prison. Seeing how it's in the tropics, the prisoners at this all-women prison go barefoot.
Big Bird Cage even had some bondage, but it was very brief. Still, this movie had Sid Haig, who made everything he was in a lot of fun. RIP, Sid.
