Lost In Space (Netflix)

The new Lost In Space series is wrapping it all up with its third season, which has made its debut on the streaming service this past December 1.

These vidcaps are from Infestation, a first season episode where Dr. Smith (Parker Posey) visits her sister (Selma Blair) and leaves her BF bound and gagged.

It's a "blink and you'll miss it" scene (with Posey's legs blocking most of it), but considering that Blair is bound barefoot, it's still quite nice. While they haven't had any more scenes like this since, the new Lost In Space is still vastly entertaining, and will be sorely missed. But leave it to the best series to know when to leave the stage.

Lost in Space is back

This is the trailer for the second season of Lost In Space on Netflix. The new season premieres on December 24, 2019. I'm glad to see the Robinson family return because I really enjoyed their first season--and I was getting paranoid as to whether or not they would come back at all, since Netflix has been in a "TV show cancelling" mood lately. Looking forward to getting lost again.

Lost in Space

In the 2018 version of Lost In Space that aired on Netflix, Parker Posey steals her sister's (played by Selma Blair) identity so she could leave with the mass exodus from Earth. It takes place at the very beginning of the third episode named Infestation.

She drugs Blair's wine, knocking her out, and then leaves her bound barefoot and gagged as she walks off with all of her ID and the information that's needed to get aboard the space flight.

This is literally a 'blink and you'll miss it' scene that lasts barely ten seconds, and the whole time, the bound Blair is in the background. Still, it's very nice, and completely unexpected in an outer space-set series like this.

Lost In Space 2018

I watched the new Lost In Space on Netflix recently, and enjoyed it very much. It was a great reboot of the classic series that retained the fun and excitement of the original while investing in some much needed gravitas. It's not as silly as the original; it takes its premise seriously, and I really liked that. I'm looking forward to the second season.

The soundtrack for this new series is also fantastic. You can hear it in the clip above. It's a bold, brash revival of the orchestral score that really helps to give the series the epic feel that it needs.

And, on top of all this good stuff, there's even a little bit of barefoot bondage in the show. In one episode, Selma Blair--of Hellboy 1 & 2 fame--is left bound and gagged by her sister. The problem is that the scene is very brief, lasting bare seconds. Trust me when I say that you're seeing far more in the vidcap above than you would in the scene itself. Maybe we'll get something better in season two.

"Danger, Will Robinson, danger!"

The Robinson family is getting lost again. This reboot of Lost In Space will be on Netflix this coming April. I watched the original series when it was in reruns back in the 1970s, and I loved it. Yes, it got very silly at times, but as a kid I enjoyed the vibrant sense of adventure that the original series had.

Molly Parker, from Deadwood, plays the Robinson family matriarch, and I think it's perfect casting. I've always liked Parker in everything she does. I'm looking forward to this one.
