Introducing Dorothy Dandridge was a movie made for HBO that starred Halle Berry as the film actress.
Dandridge appeared as a jungle girl in the film, Tarzan's Peril. Out of all of Dandridge's films, the makers of IDD chose this spectacle to reenact.
And out of all the scenes from Tarzan, they chose this one, where she's tied up on the floor of a hut. And she's barefoot, as well.
So you've got Halle Berry in a BF bondage scene in a biopic. Nice.
Tarzan soon enters the hut to break her free here, just like he did in Tarzan's Peril.
