The Scans

I called this post "The Scans" because the pictures were all scanned from magazines.

As you can see by the subject matter in each photo, they were scanned from bondage magazines.

I didn't scan them myself. I was way too shy back then to get these magazines myself. They were always on the top shelf of the magazine section, in full view of the front counter, with both the store workers and customers all watching as you picked up a copy of BONDAGE DELIGHTS? Oh, no way! No thanks.

When I first got online, back in the mid 1990s, I found several sites that offered scans from these magazines.

Every New Years, I get these romantic notions about years' past, and the nostalgia for things from times before overtakes me.

Until I remember that things aren't so bad now. I can download stuff pretty quickly these days--as opposed to waiting a half an hour just to download a still picture.
