Virginie Ledoyen stars in a French film called Late August, Early September.
It's a serious drama about relationships set in 1990s France.
But despite its somber themes, the movie has a wonderful scene.
It's a barefoot bondage scene with Ledoyen. She's lying naked on the floor, completely bound hand and foot.
And the whole bondage "scene" is consensual. Ledoyen's character wanted to be tied up, and her boyfriend was more than happy to comply.
My only complaint with this scene is that it's shot very "tight." Meaning that it's done with very tight close ups.
The result is that when we finally see her feet, they're untied.
But I still love this scene, thanks to its depiction of consensual bondage between lovers.
