Doctor Sleep

Doctor Sleep was an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Stephen King. It was a direct sequel to The Shining. The book was fantastic.

The movie is also just as good as the book, having been directed by Mike Flanagan.

The always great Rebecca Ferguson stars as the villain, a woman who leads a group of psychic vampires. They stalk the landscape in their camper caravan, looking to devour any humans with the Shining ability.

And Ferguson goes barefoot for a good portion of the film's running time.

This year marks the fifth anniversary of Doctor Sleep's release. If you haven't seen this yet, give it a shot, it goes great with The Shining.
