Millie Bobby Brown, better known as Eleven from Stranger Things, stars in Damsel, a new fantasy film that's been produced for Netflix. Millie plays a princess who's been married off to the prince of another kingdom. But as soon as she gets hitched, Millie gets dumped--literally--into the lair of a dragon as its sacrificial maiden. This is a good movie with a well-designed dragon that's very suspenseful and ultimately satisfying.
And while there's no bondage scenes, Damsel is still highly recommended for being a great barefoot movie. MBB goes barefoot for the better part of Damsel's running time. Her princess bride dress gets torn up pretty early when she first meets the dragon, and her shoes are the first things to go. Very nice! Damsel is streaming on Netflix.
