This month marks the 45th anniversary of the release of Superman: The Movie, starring Christopher Reeve.
This year also marked the 40th anniversary of the release of Superman III, the second sequel to Reeve's 1978 film.

Superman III wasn't a very good film, not at all. But the sequel, Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, was even worse than this. At least Superman III had a BF scene, so it was somewhat worthwhile watching.
We'll always have the original '78 Superman film, along with Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut. Happy 45th anniversary, Supes.
