I really enjoyed Ghostbusters: Afterlife. It was a bright, vibrant revival of the franchise that was lightyears better than the sequel and the sucky 2016 reboot.
But I also noticed something else about Afterlife.
It's got some very nice BF shots!
And lead actress Carrie Coon goes BF throughh the climax of the film.
Even during the all-important 'stepping on the ghost trap lever' scene.
Anne Parillaud stars in Innocent Blood as a vampire hunting down mobsters. About halfway through the film, she finds herself with a little free time.
But the dude that she's with is a bit nervous because she's...well, you know, a vampire.
So she makes the suggestion that she gets cuffed while they make love.
He's a cop, and the cuffs are right there, and away they go.
It's completely consensual bondage, and it's a very nice scene.
I like how she later wears one of the cuffs as a bracelet.
As mentioned in the previous post, the sacrifical scene at the end of Lair of the White Worm is one of the all-time best.
The barefoot bondage shots here are simply *chef's kiss*.
When the worm first shows up, Amanda Donohoe starts cutting the rope that Catherine Oxenberg is precariously dangling from.
I also like the slim black gag the Oxenberg wears. While it's not practical, it still looks great.
The gag looks good on Sammi Davis, too.
Things go wrong, however, as Amanda winds up feeding herself to the worm.
All in all, a fantastic horror movie with a fantastic BF bondage scene, which you can see (the scene only) right here.
Lair of the White Worm broadsided me when it first came out in 1988. And I meant that in the best way possible.
Based on the novel of the same name by Bram Stoker (who also wrote the original Dracula novel), Lair was ably directed by Ken Russell, who didn't hold back on the wild stuff.
The film is filled with wild (and gory) images that can be pretty offensive to some people. And this is even before the film reaches its human sacrifice climax.
In the climax, both lead female characters, played by Catherine Oxenberg and Sammi Davis, are captured and tied up in the dungeon-like Lair of the White Worm.
Sammi Davis is left fully dressed, but Oxenberg has been stripped of her clothing, down to just a bra and panties, and is barefoot.
Oxenberg gets re-tied by the villain so that her bare feet are bound together at the ankles, and she is left dangling over the chasm, up which the White Worm shall crawl!
Not sure if the barefoot bondage shots are Oxenberg's feet, or that of a double, but who cares? They're perfection. More to come.
The Devil Rides Out, also known as The Devil's Bride, is one of my favorite horror movies going way back.
Produced by Hammer Films in 1968, it stars Cristopher Lee in a rare outing as the good guy, an expert on the occult who's battling the supernatural.
The film also stars Nike Arrighi as a young woman who becames a pawn of evil, who is being used as a puppet by the forces of darkness.
Because of their constant possession of her, she makes a request of the hero to tie her up in a barn, and he does so, hand and (bare) foot.
The result is one of the best BF bondage scenes in a movie that is one of the best--if not THE best--Hammer Horror films of the 1960s. Try and see the whole movie, if you can, it's great. You can see the clip right here.

Staying in the Cosmic Horror mode, Madeleine Arthur stars as Lavinia Gardner, a teenage Wiccan who's practicing her beliefs at the very beginning of Color Out Of Space.
Lavinia also goes barefoot while performing her rituals, which are harmless (I meant the rituals, but her feet are also harmless, too).
Her left foot even has a tattoo.
When she returns home on her horse, still barefoot, her father (played by Nic Cage) chides Lavinia for not wearing her boots.
It's a very nice barefoot scene in this movie, which is based on a story by H.P. Lovecraft, just before things get really weird.
Continuing the Cosmic Horror theme (also with another film directed by the late, great Stuart Gordon), we have Barbara Crampton as a doctor in From Beyond.
Babs gets in trouble when she shows up at the hospital.
She gets strapped down to a table and gagged by the doctors and nurses.
I really like this gag tying scene here.
The whole thing was done on screen.
They must think you're in a bad way if they immediately strap you down for electroshock therapy the moment you show up at the hospital.
Babs is barefoot throughout the scene. She eventually fights her way out of it before the shocking part can begin.
Film director Stuart Gordon is best known for the Re-Animator, and From Beyond, other horror movies that have some nice scenes in them. But he also directed Dagon.
Based in part on the works of H.P. Lovecraft, Dagon deals with a cult in a small Spanish coastal town that worships Dagon, an evil deity.
Actress Raquel Merono plays a character who gets caught by the cult, and who is made the focus of a dark ritual.
At first she's chained down to an altar, where the evil leader of the cult makes tiny, bloody cuts on her naked body.
Once that's done, she gets strung up to a metal bar and is dangled over a pit, her naked body still chained up.
She's dropped into the murky water below in order to be "fed" to the Lovecraftian horror that dwells down there.
But that's when the Lovecraftian horror decides that it wants to join the party. There's not a happy ending here, folks. Unless you're a fan of Cosmic Horror, then party on! And Happy Halloween!
