Robert Stack is probably best known for his comedic turn in the hysterically funny Airplane!. But he originally became famous for the 1960s TV series The Untouchables. (all due respect to Bob, but I actually preferred the 1987 Untouchables movie starring Kevin Costner).
But shortly after Airplane (!) came out, Robert Stack gave the cop show beat another shot with Strike Force (no exclamation point!).
Strike Force was wiped out faster than a bunch of mobsters on Saint Valentine's Day, lasting just one season.
But in episode eleven, called "Lonely Ladies," actress Ellen Bry plays a woman who is kidnapped by a gang.
Bry spends the better part of the episode as a bound captive, tied hand and foot, very scantily clad and barefoot.
She's eventually rescued by Bob Stack and his Strike Force! (!!!)
