Hang On Sloopy

In 1965 the McCoys had a hit single, Hang On Sloopy. In 1975, they made a short film of their song--which was basically an early verion of the music video--featuring a young barefoot woman.

She's presented as being down on her luck, walking the mean streets of a studio backlot, until she comes across the band playing in the street.

She starts dancing (very well, I might add), and everything is wonderful. She's barefoot through the whole video. The woman's real name is Lisa Dalton. She was 19 when she shot this, and had gone on to a long career as a stuntwoman and actress. She doesn't list this video on her IMDB page, but you can see it right here.
