The first trailer for the new Joker movie has been released. Joaquin Phoenix plays the part this time around, and he looks and sounds very good. Will he be better than Heath Ledger? Time will tell (this opens in October), but I really liked the Mean Streets/Taxi Driver vibe that the trailer gives off. I appreciate the lighter tone the DC superhero films now have, but I'm still really looking forward to this one.
