The Abyss is Back

The Abyss is coming back to movie theaters.

Director James Cameron's science fiction underwater epic is being released to theaters for one night only, on December 6th (tickets go on sale November 20th).

It will be the longer, special edition of the film.

I've seen the original, shorter version when it first came out in theaters, and--trust me--the longer version is far better. I still have the special edition on DVD. Hopefully this theatrical release will mean The Abyss will be released in on Blu-Ray and 4K.

I Knew It

Christine, the hero of my latest Poser picture, detects something unusual in a patch on the ocean floor by her underwater habitat. So she goes out to explore it, and--she gets caught snooping. To find out what happens to her, just go right here.

The Demon

Il Demonio, or The Demon, is an Italian film from 1963 that deals with the possession of a young woman in Italy. Daliah Lavi plays the possessed woman.

At one point, she lies in a trance-like state while tied up "for her own good." I meant to add this to last month's daily Halloween celebration, but it's just as well to put it up now. While I really love Halloween, I still watch horror movies all year long, anyway. You can see this clip right here.

Radio Days

This is a short horror film that borrows from The Black Phone, the horror thriller about a kidnapped boy who speaks to the deceased victims of his abductor over a broken phone.

Same deal here, but this time with a young woman as the kidnap victim, and she hears the voice of a boy talking to her over the radio.

While she's not barefoot (alas!) she's very well bound and gagged with duct tape. This is a very well done little flick. Note: if you don't speak Spanish, turn on the closed captions, and they will provide a translation. You can watch this below:

At Midnight

At Midnight I Shall Take Your Soul (Meia-Noite Levarei Sua Alma) is reportedly the very first horror movie that was made in Brazil.

Valeria Vasquez stars as the victim of an insidious man who captures her with chloroform in a lengthy scene.

The guy is an undertaker known as Coffin Joe, and he's played by the film's writer/director, José Mojica Marins.

When Valeria wakes up, she finds that's she's lying on a bed, bound and gagged, and Coffin Joe has placed a tarantula on her bound body.

Valeria's gag is an interesting one.

Unfortunately, the spider bite is fatal. I guess that's why they call him Coffin Joe.

Valeria is barefoot in this whole scene.

The Dollhouse

There's a film online called The Dollhouse. It has nothing to do with the TV series, Dollhouse.

It's a short--about two minutes--film with an extremely brief bondage scene with a BF damsel who bound and gagged. But you can hardly see anything because of how dark it is. I've brightened these caps up considerably. You can see the film below:

Open House

Rachel Blanchard stars in Open House. She was also in Snakes On A Plane. But Open House is better suited for us.

Twin psycho killers have a weird thing where they go to open houses, kill whoever's there, and stay in the house for a while.

They do this with Alice (Rachel), but the brother falls in love with her and kidnaps her and hides her from his sister.
